"I do not desire the BBC tilting this way or that way, I just want it balanced, fair and equitable," he states.
Upon being questioned whether he believes the British Broadcasting Corporation is institutionally biased, he answers: "Absolutely not. To be clear, numerous aspects the British Broadcasting Corporation produces is world class - encompassing factual and entertainment shows."
But he adds: "There is significant effort that must be undertaken at the British Broadcasting Corporation."
A further previous consultant BBC specialist interviewed by the group, Caroline Daniel, remarks she takes the BBC very seriously and that it operates a "ongoing system and active debate" across evolving and intricate subjects.
"Whether the BBC was prepared to conduct a proper discussion and exchange and take action?" she reflects. "From my perspective, indeed, they were."
